Students will be reading the novel, A Wrinkle in Time and participating in related activities this six weeks.

Monday: Background information to A Wrinkle in Time

Pre-reading activities

Homework =– prepositions (due Thursday)

Tuesday:–Preview vocabulary–A Wrinkle in Time— Read Chapter 1; vocabulary & review questions

Wednesday: PreviewVocabulary; Read Chapter 2; vocabulary & comprehension questions; Preposition Quiz

Thursday: Grade and remediate preposition homework; Friday, May 2; Vocabulary Quiz Friday, May 2;

Friday: Seventh Grade band will be out; Novel activities

Monday:  Review STAAR Vocabulary and Format

Tuesday:  STAAR TESTING

 

Wednesday:  STAAR TESTING

 

Thursday:  Read and discuss “The Labors of Hercules.”

Show Hercules film.   Compare and Contrast classical

literature to modern film.  Culmination of literature

mythology unit.

Friday:  Continue and finish film and

comparison/contrast work.
