AR Test Due Date February 8, 2010

Monday: TLW read and comprehend Shirley Jackson’s short story “Charles.” Teacher will explain meaning of a “trickster” his popularity across cultures.

Teacher will describe “plot twist” after story is read so that students have example at hand.

Tuesday: TLW finish work on story, “Charles.” TLW work with a partner to diagram one sentence in adjective/pronoun assignment p. 359 from English text.

Wednesday: TLW will present answers to assigned sentences from pronoun/adjective assignment.

Begin Proper Adjective lesson, P. 362, Language Text.

Thursday: TLW determine parts of speech—nouns, pronouns, adjectives. Practice Ex. 12, P. 364.

Friday: TLW diagram sentences Rev. D, Page 365 with clock buddy partner.
